Community Library

Our library has hundreds of books, we have something for everyone!

The Don Bosco Center Community Library is a free resource to all residents of Anderson County. Filled with books for all ages, with genres ranging from fiction to science and nature to culture and biographies. Our hope is that this library will help families in our community learning and engaged throughout the coronavirus pandemic.

No Check-out

The library operates on the honor system, there is no checkout procedure or need to register. Feel free to take as many books as you’d like for as long as you’d like, we just ask that you bring them back when you’re done so that the next family can enjoy.

Healthy and Safe

Only one family is permitted in the library at a time and no one from the Don Bosco Center or St. Lawrence Church will be present inside the library during operation. That means a family can visit the library and still maintain social distancing guidelines.

Furthermore, the library will be disinfected regularly and all returned books will be set aside for 72 hours before being returned to the shelves. We take your health seriously and will do everything we can to make sure you can use this library without worry.

Enrichment Kits

Starting June 8th, weekly enrichment kits will also be put out containing all the supplies and instructions you need to do interesting and engaging projects with your family. Check out the Enrichment Kits page for more information
